This week we were lucky enough to have Rick come into our class and teach about iMovie. For me this was great, I thought I already knew how to do most things iMovie, and of course, I did not. We went through some fun videos and learned how to add a video on top of a green screen video, how to separate and or remove audio from a video, how to add slow motion and cropped clips. This was a great class, it was simple enough that you can easily use these tools again, and it was all practical things that can be so useful for any type of the project.
Rick had us working at our own pace following these instructions. I liked the way that he set this up because of course everyone in the class is going to be at different levels in their experience with iMovie. This way we could jump to more complex things, or start with the easy stuff and not have to wait for instruction. I think step-by-step instructions like these would be really helpful in the classroom in any subject!
