Hi everyone!
Welcome to my e-portfolio. I am Marissa and I am a student in the BEd Secondary Post Degree Program at UVic!
I am a 2020 grad from UVic with a BA in Recreation and Health Education. This naturally turned my teachable area Physical Health Education! I chose this area of teaching because playing on the UVic women’s basketball team for 6 years got me very into coaching in the community. I got the opportunities to teach kids of different ages throughout the community, as well as assist in coaching Claremont Secondary’s Senior Girl’s team. I am excited to learn more about PHE and other teaching areas to help expand my knowledge
In my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends, watch sports, and take my dog on adventures!
